Janine McGill is the managing attorney at Holland McGill Law. Janine found the legal field later in life after having a successful career in commercial real estate for 10 years. Janine chose family law based on her strong desire to help others and make a positive impact in their lives during difficult times. She strives to keep clients out of the courtroom and in control of their own decisions. However, when court is necessary, Janine fearlessly does everything she can to help a client achieve his or her goals. She uses her personal experience to provide unique insight to her clients regarding divorce, life after divorce, and all the struggles associated with it.
Janine is skilled at protecting her clients' separate property in divorce by using her tracing skills to overcome the community property presumption. She is also knowledgeable at handling complex property division cases and she enjoys the challenges that come with difficult cases. She always strives for excellence.
She received her legal education at Texas A&M University School of Law, where she graduated with honors. She truly understands the needs of her clients and their families having experienced divorce in her own life and raising her two sons ages 19 and 14. She brings an innovative approach to each case both in and out of the courtroom through her focus on family.
